Village Life is inspired by the daily routine of women in many parts of India who walk long distances, sometimes several times a day, just to fetch a bucket of water. What’s amazing is how they make friends along the way, share stories, and find joy in the little things. They don’t seem to mind the hard work—there’s a sense of community, laughter, and resilience in every step they take.
I really admire their energy and love how they find happiness in such simple things. It also makes me feel grateful for the luxury we often take for granted, like hot and cold water available 24/7. Through this painting, I celebrate their spirit and also reflect on the balance I have in my own life between these two worlds.
