Since 2009, Bollywood Party has been bringing the vibrant spirit of Indian culture celebrations across Aotearoa.
Until 2009, I had never considered entering Bollywood or the event business. I ran an art gallery, taught art and worked on a graphics project. One day, I agreed to teach a Bollywood dance class for the community, and that unexpected decision opened the door to Bollywood Party in New Zealand. Within six months, it had become a huge part of my life.
Since then, we have organised conferences, award ceremonies, Christmas parties, birthdays and Diwali celebrations. Dress-up, dance and vibrant décor became part of many events.
Over the years, Bollywood Party grew to include décor, catering, entertainment and our much-loved Bollywood costume hire, creating a complete experience.

Midwinter Christmas Party
Had such fun last night dressed up in the most beautiful sari. I felt like a princess! If you’ve got a Bollywood-themed anything coming up, party, dance, etc. then call Anju Desai she is incredible and will sort you out a 10/10 experience!! Putting my normal clothes back on today makes me sad. So boring… Thank you
