One of the winter days at Shakespeare Park, I had a chance to paint this watercolour on the spot. It was cold, so I was painting inside the car, and my friend was out for a walk. I was truly gobsmacked by the view and the rainy clouds drifting away. The rain was playing hide and seek, which made the scene look dramatic and really set the mood for the painting.
