This painting was created using one of the tiniest brushes—size 0—just to see how detailed and gentle I could go. The famous tree at Lake Wānaka has long inspired photographers and artists. Although I haven’t seen it in full bloom, one short visit to the South Island was enough to fall in love with its glowing yellows and blues. This piece shows the divinity of this land.
