Bollywood Costume Hire brings smiles to our clients’ faces and mine too. Many people say, “What a cool business you have!” To be honest, I am really proud of it. It took me a long time to put everything together. Since opening in 2009, we’ve won many Best Costume awards both here and overseas, making me feel super grateful for all the hard work.

Dressing someone who has never worn a saree or giving the boys a turban and shoes to try on and seeing their joy is priceless. One of the memorable experiences I’d like to share with you. One time a celebrity came to my studio in torn-style jeans and a t-shirt. After dressing her in a saree with jewellery, she said, “I feel like a princess now. People can serve me tea and samosas, and I don’t want to go back to my ordinary jeans and t-shirt.” I always remember that. Many more fun moments happen in the studio, and I would love to share them with you one day.
