Birch tree trunks are truly artistic creations by nature, and many artists have done their versions of these trunks, and I am the same. During my studies at the art college in India, I became fascinated by Indian ink and its flowing techniques, the way it can create light with just a touch of the brush and the amount of ink it holds.
This painting was created using a similar technique on photo paper. The Indian ink works beautifully on satin paper. I thoroughly enjoyed creating this piece and received great feedback at the 2023 exhibition.
