As a teenager, I was deeply in love with nature. I was always lost in my own world, finding inspiration in the smallest things like falling leaves or sparrows, which I saw as little bundles of happiness.

During that time, I lived in India, where nature was often found in small, beautiful pockets. I was a calm observer, getting to know myself better. I enjoyed pottery, reading Marathi literature, and spending time alone.

I used purple in this painting to reflect my calm and self-discovery mood. This watercolour piece is on A4 watercolour paper, featuring my favourite style of tree.
